Appdome validates your uploaded apps! When you upload mobile applications to the Appdome platform, the integrity of the app is validated, and checks are done to make sure the app is a valid .APK and/or .IPA file.
Appdome checks the app for:
- Valid binary structures
- Valid binary file formats (info.plist and Android.manifest)
- Valid SDK versions
- Apple FairPlay breaches
- Legal bundle identifier patterns
- Deprecated file formats
This is done to make sure that uploaded apps run smoothly after you Fuse them with new features and capabilities. This process also prevents some serious types of vulnerabilities as described here.
Thanks for visiting the Appdome knowledge base! We hope Appdome is living up to our mission of simplifying your mobile integrations. If you don't already have an account, you can sign up for free. Happy Fusing!
